The Bank Holiday is over and all your thoughts naturally turn to the Summer Show – June 24th.  Your gardens are overflowing with blooms, shrubs, cacti and potted plants.  You have been out over the Bank holiday and taken photographs specially to enter the photographic section.  You have also managed to finish that craft project and you are looking to testing out the Swiss Roll recipe on the whole family.  In other words you are just waiting to fill in the application form………(on line, by post or telephone 01895 675481)

There are many ways in which you can support the Society and putting forward an entry in the show is a very valuable one in that it showcases the Society and encourages people to join so please look at the schedule and you will see that there will be some class that you can enter.  Another way to support the Society is by donating surplus plants, seeds, jams, craft items, homemade drinks etc. to our produce stall.  This stall has proved very popular and provides the Society with funds.  You can also volunteer to help put up the tables and take them down at the end of the show.   It is important for every one, who is able, to turn up and support and enjoy the Summer Show.  Every contribution, no matter how small, makes the Show a success every year.  At this Summer Show there will be a Schools’ competition, a raffle, tickets for the Quiz Supper and our ever popular refreshment stall.

We are honoured that the former Mayor of Hillingdon, Cllr John Hensley, has accepted the invitation to present the prizes.

So please put Saturday, 24h June in your diaries.  The Show will be open to the public from 1pm and will finish with the presentation of the prizes at 4pm.
