Ruislip Central Horticultural Society is a membership-based, non-profit organisation dedicated to all things horticultural.
We are all about “Community,” supporting, learning and enjoying ourselves in the fantastic world of Horticulture
The RCHS has a long and impressive history. Established in 1939 on the theme of ‘the encouragement and improvement of the best fruit, the most choice flowers and the most useful culinary vegetables‘, the Society has continued to promote all aspects of horticulture.
Whilst we cherish our history, the Society strives to maintain a modern outlook, helping to promote horticulture to the next generation of gardeners and horticulturists. We are always working hard to bring in young blood to the society, to create a future generation that can carry forward the satisfactions of mother nature.
Welcome to the Ruislip Central Horticultural Society, a thriving hub where your passion for gardening can truly blossom. Here, you will find a warm and welcoming community of horticultural enthusiasts, each member sharing a deep-seated love for plants and the wonders of nature. Whether you are an experienced gardener with a wealth of knowledge or a novice eager to learn, our society provides an abundance of resources, engaging workshops, and exciting events tailored to inspire and educate. Dive into the enchanting world of horticulture with us, and uncover the immense joy of nurturing your own plants while forging meaningful friendships along the way. Together, we can cultivate not just beautiful gardens, but a greener, more sustainable future for all.
Membership is open to all, with the group being based around the Ruislip, Uxbridge and Pinner areas. We have members from areas as far as Hayes, Northwood, Moor Park and Watford.
