This year, the RCHS Christmas trip, which is always popular and fun, we will be going to Saville Garden for a Christmas-themed afternoon Lunch, followed by the amazing Light Trail.

WEDNESDAY 16th DECEMBER 2026

3 pm – 9 pm

Windsor Great Park Illuminated is an annual winter light and sound trail set within the historic woodland and around Obelisk Pond near Saville Gardens

This is a self-guided loop that takes roughly 1.5 hrs- 2 hrs to walk; shortcuts approx 45 mins

Key features: dynamic light art, music-synced installations, animated woodland creature projections, laser-scapes. Light tunnels and fountain displays reflecting over the water

Mid-trail shopping points feature fire pits for marshmallow toasting, mulled wine, hot cocoa and hot food vendors 

Timings:

Leaving St Martins Approach, Ruislip 3 pm

Arrive at Saville Garden for our Christmas-themed Lunch  4 pm

Light Trail 6 pm

Leave for Ruislip 8.15 pm
